Exeter City Council’s Planning Committee voted down the application to build over 100 houses within the designated Ludwell Valley Park. Councillors debated at length and there were impassioned calls to prevent further air pollution on the Topsham Road, to protect the city’s valley parks from development and to protect the wonderful views from the top of Ludwell Valley across to the Exe estuary. This was a brave decision by our councillors as an appeal is likely -watch this space, but for now, thank you!!
