Sunday morning, Sept 25th, volunteers wanted to help improve a stretch of the Panny. Clearing scrub (making space for tree and wildflower planting), creating new sitting area with bench, litter picking, plus bug hotel making, wildlife spotting sheets, friendly chat with local people who care about the wonderful Ludwell Valley Park. All welcome – come by and help, or to say hello. Anyone arriving with biscuits and cake for the volunteers will be very welcome indeed! The task will run from 10.30 – 1.00pm. We can use the loos at the Wonford Sports Centre, or the Northbrook Golf Course.
Meet 10.30 am, by Swan Bungalow, Wonford Playing Fields. This is opposite the childrens playground on Chestnut Avenue.
